The application works as follows: 1 layer of glue direct to cement, followed by laying the sound-barrier membrane on top of the glue, then 1 layer of glue on top of the sound barrier, then the floor on top of the glue. SupexBond eliminates these steps by simply applying 1 layer of 5-in-1 glue to the cement, which foams up to form a sound-proof membrane after 3 hours.
